In Corsica there are plenty of churches and tombs that are located far away from any village. Typically they are built in the middle of a forest or on the peak of a mountain. While some of these churches are still in use for very sporadic ceremonies, others are actually neglected and left crumbling to their fate. Some of the most remote churches are difficult to find and access. During my explorations of the island, I’m documenting the current state of affairs of the buildings and create an archive of these architectures.
